Nancy Thurlby

Nancy paints in a free impressionistic style. She captures the various moods of nature, drawing inspiration from her regular country and coastal explorations. Her work often depicts reflections and the play of light of water, as seen in her paintings of intimate pond life. Atmosphere, light and a sense of harmony are crucial to her art.

She paints in various media and is currently enjoying the vibrant colours of the pastel medium.

Nancy is the recipient of numerous awards over the years and won Best Pastel at Mount View Primary School in 2010 and 2011. Her work is represented in private collections here and overseas.
