Lisa Hass

I discovered the beauty of porcelain several years ago and was drawn to its tactile beauty, pure colour and understated strength. My original designs are a fusion of contemporary style with an organic feel. Inspiration is drawn from the vibrant urban landscape of the City of Melbourne and found objects in nature. Each piece is individually hand painted and unique. I am a qualified Graphic Designer and Secondary teacher of Art and Visual Communication and Design. It was through this practice that I discovered the new laser cutting technology and I have implemented this into both curriculum development and my artwork. My jewellery is on display in galleries and specialty shops in Australia.
